Cultures can be complex, even within the same country, often leading to feelings of being misunderstood or experiencing frequent conflicts. Life transitions, whether positive or challenging—such as divorce, the loss of a loved one, exploring a new cultural or sexual identity, or starting an exciting new job—can also leave us feeling lonely, lost, or discouraged. You don't have to navigate these changes on your own. Therapy offers a safe and supportive environment where you can explore the complex emotions that accompany these transitions. I utilize an integrative approach to help clients recognize their potential for achieving wellness. As a Cantonese and Mandarin speaker, I am able to understand clients' perspectives in their native language, enhancing the therapeutic process. Additionally, I am trained in EMDR therapy, which has shown significant results, particularly in addressing trauma.
