Hi there! I’m Shanice Peterson, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I am located in San Diego, licensed in both California and D.C., and I'm really looking forward to supporting you. Throughout my time in the mental health field, I have gained insight into the many challenges people face and how best to support them. My approach to therapy is collaborative, holistic, and strength based. I strive to create a safe space for you to feel empowered to become a better version of yourself. During the healing process, I help individuals examine patterns in their behavior, explore connections to their past, identify emotional pain manifesting in their body, and unlearn thinking/behavior that no longer serves them. My goal is to ultimately create an opportunity for growth, change, overcoming and becoming to take place.
