Taking time for yourself is hard. Seeking help is even harder. I entered this field after witnessing a family member share about his time in Vietnam. Each person I talk to, no matter the topic, I am grateful that you are willing to share a piece of your life with me. I aim to be a safe place where you can set the weight of the world down for a moment, and catch your breath. I have worked in emergency mental health, debriefing with grieving families after tragically losing a loved one, and been there to be an intensive case manager once someone is learning to live with new information of a diagnosis.
