About
As a clinician, my favorite quote is "shame dies when stories are told in safe places" (-Anna Voskamp), and this is what guides my practice. Maybe you often find yourself thinking that “there must be something wrong with me”, that nobody understands, or maybe you feel weighed down by guilt, shame or self-doubt. Often, the clients I work with express frustration over feeling "stuck" or unable to make changes, despite their best efforts. In the therapeutic space, these are not viewed as failures, but responses that make sense when viewed through the lens of trauma, access to resources, and broader cultural messages and expectations. As a clinician, I primarily work with individuals impacted by trauma, disordered eating, or emotional numbness. My aim is to provide evidence-based, trauma-informed therapy that will help you to feel more grounded, connected, and capable of navigating your life with greater understanding and self-compassion, leading to long-lasting and sustainable changes.
