My role as an art therapist and counselor is to actively assist each client in their own unique process of discovering their insights and strengths to help them navigate the primary issues that have brought them into therapy. My goal is to create a safe, accepting, and trusting environment for my clients. I value the art process as an approach to healing. I am a trauma informed therapist. I draw from strength based, cognitive behavioral, humanistic, experiential, and person centered approaches to therapy.
