I have worked in the field of mental health for over 2 decades, both as a clinician and in various leadership roles. One of my greatest passions is reducing the stigma and barriers that inhibit people from reaching out for help when they need it. The truth is, we all need help at some point- all of us. My role is to listen without judgement and provide support, tools and insights so that my clients can process their experience fully and move forward in life. I utilize a blend of cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness to improve coping skills leading to greater life satisfaction. I work with adults, couples and older teens. My approach is generally client centered, meaning, we talk about what most meaningful to you. Having a good fit with your therapist is the best indicator that it will be a useful experience, we will establish that through talking, listening and probably laughing at times.
