Hi! My name is Shelby Rouse, LPC, Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist. I am currently accepting new clients. I have experience with children and play therapy. I am also EMDR trained and trauma informed. I have experience in the behavioral health field and specialized in Applied Behavior Analytics with children, adolescents, and young adults on the Autism Spectrum. A solid therapeutic alliance is one of the most important factors in counseling and with the art of listening and collaboratively designing your treatment plan, I look forward to to building one with you. My goal is to help you become aware of how your thoughts may be negatively impacting your daily life and teach you how to challenge negative thinking and distorted thought patterns by using a variety of techniques often used in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Using EMDR, I can help you work through distressing events so they no longer impact daily life.
