I work to empower children, teenagers, and adults to create peaceful and productive lives following a stressful phase of life or a traumatic event. Since 2004, I have worked in residential treatment, private clinics, and in community and school-based programs. I have worked with a team to establish an Early Childhood Court program, given TV interviews about mental health issues, spoken about parenting and attachment to a class of teenage mothers, provided group therapy to increase emotional regulation for children who have been unsuccessful in the classroom environment, and co-facilitated a 3-day trauma work shop in a church setting
