About

Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor(LPC-S), also carrying certifications of C-AAIT, and CSOTP. I graduated from University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2013 with a Master's of Science degree in Counseling Education and have worked in a variety of mental health settings, including inpatient and outpatient mental health clinics, correctional facilities, private practice, and school systems. Having experience with substance abuse, sex offender therapy, acute and chronic mental health disorders, and trauma and crisis counseling, I use a variety of counseling techniques tailored to each client's needs. I have a passion for working with addictions, Veterans, self defeating behaviors, and offer a compassionate, nonjudgmental approach in client centered care. Recently certified as an Animal Assisted Intervention Therapist, my therapy dog Huck also may be present in interventions.
