Shionna Stupart is a licensed clinical social worker with a focus on treating mental illness, emotional and other behavioral disturbances. She uses a comprehensive approach to treatment in order enhance social functioning, self-determination, optimal health, and overall well-being. As a clinician her purpose is to provide a collaborative safe environment in order to process and redefine those experiences and garner insight. Shionna value's building and maintaining a therapeutic relationship with each client by imparting empathy, confidentiality and understanding. Since completing her education she has worked in child welfare with family’s and also as an individual therapist working with children, adolescents and adults. Studying social work has allowed her to approach my clinical work in a more aggregate way that assesses the interconnection of the individual’s bio-psycho-social-spiritual-culture.
