My name is Sommer Slaughter and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in California working with clients statewide via telehealth. I have experience working with children, adolescents and adults and I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, intimate partner violence and substance abuse. I integrate a variety of modalities based on the need of each client. I most frequently use Trauma Informed Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, as both modalities allow me to help clients work on behavior change while gaining back control and empowerment in their lives.
