Hi, I’m glad you’re here and taking this step toward finding the right support. Choosing a therapist is an important decision, and I hope this helps you get a sense of whether I might be a good fit. I bring over 20 years of experience working in the mental health field and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Maine and West Virginia. I earned my undergraduate degree from West Virginia University and completed my master’s degree at the University of Denver. Throughout my career, I’ve worked with youth and adults navigating trauma, grief, and loss, and major life transitions. We’ll start at your pace. The first session is a time for us to get to know one another and begin creating a safe, supportive space where trust can develop. You’re welcome to share as much or as little as feels comfortable as we talk about what brings you to therapy. I’ll gather some basic information, review the intake process.
