About
When a loved one has dementia the uncertainty and isolation can feel like being lost at sea. You may feel like you are adrift after losing the anchor of a stable, predictable relationship. I am trained as a Support Group Facilitator for the Alzheimer’s Association, and have a passion for helping caregivers understand the personality and behavior changes in their loved ones. Therapy can offer a safe space to share your feelings while learning strategies to reduce stress, anxiety and loneliness that can come with caring for a friend or family member. View 7 Photos I have a Master of Science in Professional Counseling with more than ten years experience working with caregivers and families experiencing changes and loss due to Alzheimer’s and Dementia. I work with issues related to aging: grief, loss, anxiety, depression, current life adjustments and issues that impact overall mood and daily functioning.
