I approach therapy with the perspective that each individual has their own story that is unique and worthy of being heard. I work with individuals who are experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, relationship/family/parenting issues, infidelity and life/career transitions among many other challenges. As an Asian-American therapist, I understand the need for culturally affirming care where safety and inclusiveness is the norm, not the exception. My own history of various life transitions provides me with experienced insight, compassion and understanding of the profound impact of being heard and accepted. I tailor treatment to support your specific needs with warmth, attunement and connection. I use an integrated approach with psychodynamic theory at the core in combination with behavioral modalities. I guide the client in gaining valuable insight into their challenges by exploring internal conflicts as well as past and present relationships.
