My clients tell me that the most surprising part of therapy is seeking help for one problem, and uncovering other symptoms or life events that contribute, usurp, or impact the original problem in ways they never knew. Therapy is exactly that. It starts with one thought or concern and moves toward resolution using rapport, trust, and open communication between the therapist and the client. Together we work to identify areas needing change, learning and practicing skills to get you there, celebrating the wins (every little one), supporting the misses, and finally providing you with the tools to meet your goals.
