I work with children, adolescents, their families and adults to address a wide range of issues including Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, ADHD, Impulse Control, Family Conflict and Problematic Sexual Behaviors among others. Often these individuals and families may have experienced some kind of trauma or transition in life and need a space to be able to process their experience or work on regulating their emotions. Additionally, I have completed the Juvenile Sexual Offense Counselor Certification Program (JSOCCP) and have utilized these skills to help adolescents who have committed sexual offenses. I am certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and I have been trained in Alternatives for Families Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (AF-CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Solution Focused Therapy. I use these to help people to find solutions or strengths within and practice new skills to overcome their difficulties.
