As a long-term provider of mental health, I feel that therapy is very much like coaching. Together we can affect change using the tenets of CBT. I like to work in a brief, short-term and goal-centered approach. Come with an open mind and let us talk about making minor adjustments that can lead to long term changes. My mantra is "How can I help?" And if it sounds like a "Zen" like approach to counseling- maybe it is.
