I have spent a majority of my early career working with teenagers, but have primarily shifted to working with young professionals and adults. As a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist, my primary focus involves working with those that struggle with sex addiction, pornography, infidelity, and the resulting difficulties. Recently, I have enjoyed helping athletes (i.e., ultra running, MMA, and Jiu-Jitsu) break through the mental barriers that limit physical performance. I have a wealth of experience working closely with individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship issues, and life transitions. My therapeutic approach involves helping clients understand themselves as a part of the larger systems they exist within (marriage, family, work, etc.) in order to add context to thoughts, feelings, and emotions. I also utilize CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) techniques to help clients with maladaptive thought patterns that often produce anxiety.
