Still Water Professional Counseling provides quality individualized treatment that respects each client’s personal values. However, we specialize in counseling that integrates research-based psychological treatments with a biblical worldview. Our counselors have been trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy), IFS (Internal Family Systems) and (Children's Play Therapy) in order to provide effective therapy to address trauma and restore relationships. We also have Certified Sex Addiction Therapists on our staff who can help clients to overcome compulsive sexual behaviors. Life is a journey that includes joy, as well as pain and trauma. When the effects of trauma go untreated, they negatively affect relationships and evolve into issues like depression, anxiety, or addiction. As therapists, we understand the hopelessness of depression, the pain of betrayal, and the gripping nature of addiction.
