Empowerment is at the core of my therapeutic philosophy. I believe that understanding our patterns of behavior and learning and applying practical strategies enables clients to enhance their social and emotional functioning and improve their quality of life. We will take a collaborative approach in our work together and set meaningful goals focused on positive change. This approach to counseling is effective for those who are experiencing difficulties such as anxiety, issues with attention and focus, educational struggles, interpersonal issues and life transitions. I bring extensive experience as a school counselor and am skilled at supporting adolescents and families in navigating the social, emotional and educational challenges inherent in the school experience. I eagerly anticipate continuing to work with adolescents and expanding my practice to include adult clients.
