You may minimize your experiences initially because you learned that keeping quiet kept you out of trouble. You may have had experiences of being unable to acknowledge you had needs at all. It is a passion of mine to help you learn that you are important and worth listening to. I am certified in EMDR and have training in Ego State Therapy (a form of parts work). If you are ready to go deep and your typical coping skills don't seem to help, let's talk. For couples, I am trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy to help partners repair disconnection and build a secure bond.
