Experiences with loss have played a big role in shaping how I approach my work. From losing a parent as a teenager to navigating questions of identity as an adult, I’ve spent years examining how loss ripples through families over time. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for resilience—the “muscle” we strengthen over time—and the incredible impact it can have on our lives. As a second-career therapist, I bring a unique perspective informed by my background in law and business, which has made me more attuned to the pressures and stressors of those environments.
