Understanding what you can control in your own life such as thoughts and behaviors is crucial. It is important to stay true to yourself at your core and not rely on others' perceptions. I want to guide you in understanding your behaviors and what those behaviors are protecting you from. these behaviors may stem from being stuck in the past, having racing thoughts, struggling with self esteem, struggling with familial issues, having relationship/parenting/co-parenting problems, and experiencing issues in school. For children, their struggles may include emotion regulation, anger, ADHD, school issues, divorced parents, and more. I can help you reframe thoughts, labels, and previous negative understandings of life. Mental health issues shows up differently for each person, and I want to understand what it looks like for you. Together, we can create goals, coping skills, and habits that work for you. I recently received a Graduate Certificate in Play Therapy.
