My name is Tara Nimry, and I’m a therapist of Asian Pacific Islander descent. I'm a trauma-informed therapist dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive space where your story and identity are honored. I provide culturally responsive care with humility, compassion, and respect—recognizing that healing looks different for everyone. My work is grounded in a deep commitment to supporting clients through the impacts of trauma, whether recent or rooted in the past. Clients often describe me as non-judgmental, compassionate, practical, humorous, quirky, and down-to-earth. I specialize in working with teens and trauma across the lifespan, including childhood trauma, & perinatal/postpartum experiences such as birth trauma, fertility challenges, & pregnancy/infant loss. I'm EMDR-Certified and integrate this evidence-based approach to help clients heal from painful experiences that may be how they think, feel, & relate today.
