I believe that persons seeking counseling for any reason are asking themselves, “Who am I?” Professional counseling helps you return to the authentic self that you were born with before life experiences pulled you away from it. My two-pronged job is to provide you with support and challenge to help you clear away the confusion and to find your authentic self again. Therefore, I ask you to bring to our sessions the thing that is generating the most energy for you that day; the good, the bad, and the ugly. It may not seem to apply to the reason that you started therapy, but it will. Because everything matters.
