My name is Tiffany Deneau. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience. I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings and with several populations. My primary focus is improving emotional regulation, improving relationships, increasing self-esteem, and achieving personal growth. I became a therapist because I know what it feels like to no longer want to go on with life. I also know what it feels like to finally be out of the hole l was in and to feel whole again. I know how difficult it is to ask for help, but it's also the best decision one can make. In the first session, I conduct an assessment to obtain information on the main areas of therapy focus. Based on this assessment, I work with each patient to develop a treatment plan to set and implement goals. These goals must be SMART (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, and Time-bound).
