About

I am passionate about working with children and adolescents as I have experience as a mother, childcare teacher, and substitute teacher. I also have a heart for working with people with disabilities and have enjoyed volunteering at Midwest Special Services (MSS), a nonprofit organization that supports individuals with disabilities. As an intern eager to expand on my expertise, I am open to working with a variety of individuals from all backgrounds. My goal is to provide a space for others to find a sense of belonging, safety and connection through making art, exploration(play) and psychoeducation. Talk therapy combined with art-making is a powerful way to express emotions and cope through challenges. It is a way to understand ourselves and the world around us. Through personal and professional training I have found that bridging psychology, art and faith has the ability to provide clarity, comfort, and change which is what I hope to offer.
