Hi! I am glad you are here. Some of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by their emotional experience or completely disconnected from themselves. I often see deep-seated shame that is blocking growth. I also see clients who benefit from processing difficult events or relationships from their past, and we often explore the emotional impact of negative family dynamics, which can be influencing current functioning in relationships with self and others. Folks may have a sense of existential dread wondering who they are in this world as they may not have had the space to be fully themselves in a safe, supportive environment.
