Counseling is like hiring a tour guide when life hands you a ticket to a ride you didn't ask for. All of my clients have found themselves on this ride, and they all want a way off. This is the work: We examine the situation, discover secret passages, and figure out what makes it tick, because the only way out is in, and if it weren't for this dang town, we'd never get to see what we're truly capable of.
