Welcome to Illuminating Hope Counseling, LLC. I have been working in the field of social work since 2013 after graduating from USI with my Masters in Social Work. I have experience working with individuals struggling with mental health and addiction, ranging from school aged children to adults of any age. I also specialize in marriage and family therapy. Working in a variety of settings has given me experience with a multitude of diagnoses and problems. I believe everyone deserves a second chance in life and to take back control over what was once lost. I use a solution focused approach with Motivational Interviewing, DBT, CBT, and TFCBT (Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy- specifically for children). I also use Matrix programming to address addictions and substance abuse.
