Life transitions or the loss of a loved one, may create a sense of emotional and physical instability. When we experience an imbalance in our life, even simple daily tasks can feel overwhelming. I will teach you tools that can be easily used outside of therapy sessions. I am trained in using grounding techniques, such as, guided relaxation, breathing exercises and yoga poses to increase mind/body awareness and calm the central nervous system. I work collaboratively with my patients and tailor techniques to fit their needs. Our work together will be purposeful and goal oriented. I use treatment modalities such as Supportive Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy to support patients.
