My name is Elisa DeVargas, PhD, and I am a psychologist who specializes in work with children, teens, and families. I see kids ages 4 years and older, and have experiences with treating a range of challenges during these crucial developmental years, including extreme tantrums, academic challenges, sleep difficulties, experiences of stress/trauma. I work from a trauma-informed and anti-racist framework that helps me understand challenges stemming from influences beyond the individual, and taking into account how community, culture and context impact symptoms.
