Sometimes life crashes in on us. We suffer breakups and divorces. We lose jobs. Past traumas disturbingly resurface. We deal with debilitating illnesses. We face seemingly insurmountable grief when people we love get sick and/or pass away. Sometimes we feel unsettled, disappointed and dissatisfied. We perseverate, "What is wrong with me?! I should be doing so much better than this!" When life crashes, we are left in pieces and face the daunting task of putting ourselves back together. How can we ever again feel strong, healthy, happy and whole? These events change us, that's for sure, but they don't have to break us. I help my clients put themselves back together again. I listen, support, guide, and sometimes challenge. Together, we look at each broken piece and start the process of re-building. I help my clients to process, to mourn, to care for themselves, and to find ways to re-discover and re-create their best selves.
