Each client I have worked with has provided opportunities for personal reflection, so there is no one client I think is ideal. The clients receiving treatment from my current practice are people who have recognized some traumatic events, history with substances, and potentially dysfunction in their families of origin or the ones they created. Most of my clients are generally considered supported and that helps to build from that foundation, but it is a process for everyone invested. Trauma-informed care is much more internal than we fully comprehend.
