Hi, I’m Ty, and my pronouns are they/she. I am a queer-friendly and non-binary Clinical Mental Health Intern at Umoja Behavioral Health. I am currently working toward my MSCCMHC through University of Phoenix. My journey into this field is shaped by personal resilience, lived experience, and a deep belief in the power of human connection. I work from a humanistic lens, valuing empathy, authenticity, and the importance of meeting you where you are at. I also incorporate elements of Belief Systems Analysis (BSA) to support clients in building more adaptive ways of thinking, coping, and interacting with their world.
