About
Equine-assisted psychotherapy is not horseback riding lessons—it’s a clinically grounded, trauma-informed therapy experience that uses the healing presence of horses to support emotional regulation, insight, and connection. Sessions take place in an outdoor barn setting and may involve observing, interacting, and completing structured activities with horses. Horses help us access what traditional talk therapy sometimes can’t. They mirror our nervous system, boundaries, and emotional patterns in real time—creating powerful opportunities to build self-trust, confidence, and coping skills. We offer traditional weekly sessions as well as intensives. Trauma-focused intensives are available for clients seeking deeper work in a shorter timeframe and are offered in 4–6 hour blocks at the barn. These extended appointments allow for focused, structured support.
