I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 1993. I interned at Harlem Hospital and the VA in Los Angeles and worked in clinics in California and Jewish Board of Family and Childrens Services in NYC. I opened my private practice in New York in 2013. I practice psychodynamic psychotherapy (I studied at the Psychoanalytic Institute of California), bringing to light memories and feelings buried in your unconscious that shape your present emotions and behavior. I work with you toward your unique individual goals. I listen intently to you and form a nonjudgmental relationship with you, eliciting understanding and lasting change. My specialty is bringing repressed influencers into consciousness where they can be understood, changed, or discarded.
