About
Curious about therapy with a former New York City actress? Here I am, having happily made my segue into being a therapist two decades ago. Many of the same strengths that made me successful in a creative field, such as communication, empathy, and authenticity, overlap surprisingly well with the necessary skills that make a good therapist. Whether you are reaching out to address anxiety, grief/loss, or tough life chapters for yourself or your child, it is essential to find the right therapeutic fit. That said, my approach is warm, sometimes goofy, empathic, and authentic. View 4 Photos My work primarily focuses on anxiety, mood disorders, and OCD with kids and adolescents. I draw from a variety of interventions, including Play Therapy, CBT, DBT-informed, and Exposure Response Prevention. In addition, my training in Smith College School for Social Work was focused on Psychodynamic Theory.
