Eating Disorders can be prolonged if not addressed by a specialist. I have worked in three CT based hospitals/ treatment Centers with Eating Disorders Programs for 16 years treating individuals, facilitating groups and as treatment staff. My graduate training in Movement Therapy helps to treat the issues of Body-Image dissatisfaction and distortion. My certification in yoga training (2000) and my certification in Mindfulness Based Meditation (2012) also bring additional skills to my clients. My Private Practice has been in operation for 15 years here in Branford, CT. Here I am able to conduct safe 1:1 sessions, groups. I utilize techniques to identify and pinpoint specific needs and to improve one's functioning. I work collaboratively treating with Docters, Nutritionists and Med Mangement specialists , if needed.
