If you are in the process of deciding to begin therapy, welcome! Making this decision to engage with therapy and navigating the system of mental health services can be challenging. I am a licensed independent social worker who practices in Massachusetts. I have been a therapist for over thirty years and have had the privilege of working with children, adolescents, and adults from diverse backgrounds (varying by race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, and socioeconomic background). I create a safe space for my clients to express themselves, share their life stories, process experiences, and learn useful coping skills.
