Since 1987, I have logged approximately 50,000 patient contact hours with most mental health disorders. In addition, I specialize in depressive and anxiety disorders, couples work and substance abuse problems. My clients have described me as engaged, interactive and empathetic. I make this claim with confidence because I have observed how easily my clients relate their most personal issues to me without shame or fear. Emphasizing mindfulness, I focus on dynamic tensions in the therapeutic relationship that help patients feel understood in the here and now. My relational approach is intended to help patients emotionally unfold.
