My name is Kristin D. Montes. I am dedicated to providing compassionate counseling services to individuals and families struggling with the grief journey. My goal is to support my clients through the grief journey at their pace. I have a close understanding of traumatic/complicated grief, as I have worked with clients who have suffered loss through violent crime, suicide, accidental overdose, and sudden natural causes. Fostering an understanding of grief as a lifelong and evolving process is my goal. There is no cure for grief, but there is a way to carry it and allow it to move within the person, not against the person.
