My therapeutic approach works with Individuals, couples, families and groups seeking to have a more integrated way to live their lives while facing the challenges that can interfere with that goal. I am a psycho-dynamically trained psychologist who finds that initially focusing on symptom relief helps the individual begin the healing process. My work centers on assisting the individual or groups to break free from past issues that interfere with the present and that may impact the future. My many years as a former psychology professor and practicing psychologist has informed my practice with the latest techniques in mental health.
