I am committed to empowering my clients and helping them to create meaningful, positive changes in their lives. My therapeutic approach is person-centered, and I emphasize the importance of building a strong, trusting relationship with my clients. I tailor my interventions to each client’s unique needs and goals. Treating each client with empathy and non-judgmental manner helps to provide a trusting relationship. This enables my clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Ultimately, to develop the skills and resilience necessary to overcome obstacles and foster personal growth. As a bilingual therapist (English/Spanish) I have experience treating individuals of multiple cultural backgrounds. As a former school counselor, I learned to create a safe space for students to express their needs, struggles, and successes within their school. When treating minors, whenever possible I encourage family participation.
