Carline has 12 years of experience in the mental health field. She obtained her Bachelors in Sociology from Kean University in January 2012. She began her career at Community Access Unlimited working with people of all ages with developmental disabilities. She enjoyed the work so much she went on to pursue a Masters in Social Work & Certificate in Aging & Health from Rutgers University in 2016. She interned at JCC-Senior Day Program and then went to work at Nutley Parkside Apartments (Senior Housing) as the Social Service Director. Carline founded Zen Wellness to increase older adults access to mental health care. Zen Wellness specializes in the geriatric population (adults 60+ years old). Treatment consists of a thorough biopsychosocial assessment, collaborative treatment plan and effective therapeutic approaches provided either virtually (NJ) or in the comfort of your home (Essex County, NJ).
