My goal is to help people trust themselves, to release ingrained notions of shoulds and musts. People work with me for many reasons - to regulate feelings of depression/anxiety/dissociation, to build/deepen/repair relationships, develop self-esteem, explore sexuality and gender expression etc. Areas of expertise include mood disorders, sexuality and pleasure, parenting, immigration experiences, body acceptance and couples work. In an increasingly disconnected world, I have a deep interest in helping people build intimacy with others and themselves. My therapeutic style is warm, authentic and interactive. My post-graduate training integrates relational psychoanalysis, mindfulness practices and somatic experiencing. This means that we can explore family history and historic dynamics that might be repeating themselves as well as focus on "here and now" experiences and regulating tools.
