I am a neurodivergent LGBTQ+ therapist who loves working with individual adults who are curious about themselves and who are ready to look at their past, including any trauma that has impacted their life. I am trained in EMDR which is a powerful treatment modality that helps process traumatic or distressing events and memories. I use assessments that are validated to ensure I understand what you are experiencing. As we work together, I will ask about what is working best for you and will tailor my approach as needed. I use an overall integrative approach to psychotherapy that incorporates person-centered therapy, trauma-informed care, psychoeducation, cognitive behavioral therapy, feminist therapy, and EMDR to help individual adults achieve better mental health. I believe you are the expert in your life and know what is best for you.
