I specialize in working with preteens, teens and young adults with eating disorders, depression and mood disorders, anxiety disorders, OCD, and trauma. I am passionate about working with individuals who want to foster a greater sense of self compassion, to improve self worth and body image, or to work to develop more satisfying relationships with others. I work collaboratively and from a strength-based perspective to aide in the development of skills that allow you to live a full and more meaningful life. My therapeutic style is warm, engaging and respectful. A particular area of focus is in helping teens who struggle with eating disorders and their families using a treatment model called Family Based Treatment (FBT), which is an evidence-based form of treatment. I utilize a combination of ACT, CBT and DBT treatment modalities, to help patients work toward their treatment goals.
