Dr. Robert Roop believes in treating each person as an individual, molding his strategies to meet their needs. He offers individual, couples, family, and addictions counseling, as well as treatment for those individuals or couples facing sexual issues. Dr. Roop and his wife, Dr. Shay Roop, own Professional Counseling. After completing his undergraduate work in psychology at the University of South Florida, Dr. Roop earned a doctorate of education from the Institute for Advanced Study of Human Sexuality. He is certified in both human sexuality and family mediation. Before becoming a psychotherapist Dr. Roop served as a captain in the United States Air Force.
