I’m Mary de Guzman, PhD, LCSW. For more than 25 years I’ve walked alongside caregivers, older adults & families facing the challenges of dementia, aging, chronic illness and end-of-life transitions. I’m licensed in both Arizona and Hawaii, and deeply committed to making sure my clients have a safe place to breathe, process, reconnect with themselves & learn practical ways to cope. My clinical focus centers on caregiver well-being, grief, burnout & the emotional impact of progressive & chronic illness. Many of the clients I work with feel overwhelmed, isolated, or unsure how to cope with ongoing changes in their life. I specialize in supporting those who are 65+, caregivers, those impacted by dementia, families, individuals navigating aging, and end-of-life transitions. A blend of decades of experience with specialized dementia training and a strong research-based foundation from my doctoral work helps me understand multiple complexities in your life.
